Alex Schnell demystifies what humans know about octopuses
Marine biologist and National Geographic Explorer Alex Schnell’s research is contributing to the expanding but limited understanding humans have of the mysterious lives of octopuses, their cuttlefish relatives and other species.
Schnell is the primary storyteller of “Secrets of the Octopus,” a three-part documentary series executively produced by filmmaking visionary and National Geographic Explorer at Large James Cameron, and narrated by award-winning actor Paul Rudd, which premiered on National Geographic on April 21, and Disney+ and Hulu on April 22.

    This is so true … the 2nd part of the video, talking about language and its impact on thinkers and decision makers. It doesn’t surprise me though - for communication has been severely hampered and curtailed by the universal acceptance of just one language. And this doesn’t cover for local intelligence. All in all, a wonderful video @aarti. Thanks for speaking on this!

    I guess pilot found "fuente de Sifon" and ship it in secret factory of Argentina. Then, the famous pilot open is parachute and flying to the top as the pinguins in a glaciar vertical tunnel (moulin glaciaire).       AlexNet by Ilya Sutskever, Alex Krizhevsky, and Geoffrey Hinton was only possible because of Fei Fei Li's multi-year work on ImageNet... which got the interest of companies like google to *actually* focus on scaling NNs.

    As a family we went to Washington DC and we visited the White House - I bought one of these "books" for $l.00. It is a National Geographic special edition and really isn't a book but a magazine. I was 13 years old in 1962 and I still have this magazine - when starting to go into the White House I plucked some plant leaves from the White House ground - they looked like ivy or something and I taped them down and put them into this "book". They are still there.
